Life Path Numbers

Every life path number, and the shape it maps to

Your life path number is calculated from your full birth date — month, day and year reduced and added together. It is the most foundational number in your chart, and it describes something more useful than a personality type: the structural pattern your life is built around.

In the Geometric Intelligence Code, each life path number maps to a geometric form — an Arrow, a Spiral, a Circle. The shape is not decoration. It shows how the pattern actually moves, where it loops, and which direction it is trying to grow toward. The twelve guides below cover each number in turn: what it means, the loop it repeats, and the direction it points toward.

What the number alone does not tell you

Two people with the same life path number can be stuck in completely different loops. The number gives you the structure. It does not give you the direction — that comes from your North Node axis, and how the two interact is what the GIC Method maps.

If you want the fuller picture, start with what your life path number really means, then see how your number translates into geometry. For the working layer — how your number shows up in work — read life path number and career.

Questions about life path numbers

How do I find my life path number?

Add your birth month, birth day and birth year, each reduced to a single digit, then reduce the total again. Master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are not reduced further. The free calculator on this site does the calculation and shows the geometric shape your number maps to.

What if my life path number is a master number?

Master numbers 11, 22 and 33 carry the pattern of 2, 4 and 6 at an amplified frequency. They tend to be felt more intensely and to require more regulation, which is why they have their own pages here rather than being folded into the lower numbers.

Is a life path number the same as a geometric signature?

No. Your life path number is one layer of your geometric signature. The signature combines that number with your North and South Node axis, your dominant element and your birth day modifier, which is what makes it directional rather than descriptive.
